Limited edition hand crafted hoodie with "Rastah" embroidered on the front in Arabic script. Hand cut Kashmiri shawl patterns combined with a historic mughal princess painting to create motif featured on back. Hand cut and stitched kashmiri shawl patterns are also featured on the sleeves. This piece features significant technical work completed graciously by one of our technical workers. The rose within each painting is individually hand embroidered, and the motif is printed on hand made fabric.

The borders on this piece are made from jacquard fabric in a traditional Kashmiri style which has been cut from a Kashmiri shawl. These shawls are part of the culture and tradition in Pakistan and are a staple of Pakistani traditional wear. The pattern is inspired by the Mughal miniature art work and architecture.

On the back side, you'll see our motif with hand embroidery done by the workers of our partner, Behbud Association who assist us in providing a fair and equal wage to artisans, craftsman, and technical workers.

The side patches are hand cut patterns and are hand stitched to allow for a textured and crafted look. The cutting process is immensely intricate, demanding tremendous skill and patience.
